Fellow of Optica and SPIE; Professor, Xi’an Jiaotong University; founder and PI of the Intelligent Photonic Application Technology Laboratory (iPatLab). Research interests include intelligent photonics, optical communications, optical perception and optical chip technologies. Publications include more than 300 journal and conference papers with over 15,000 citations, alongside extensive editorial, reviewing and conference-chair service across international photonics venues.
