A new forum for the science of seeing.
IICVOS 2027 is an inaugural international conference connecting intelligent imaging, computer vision, optical sensing and artificial intelligence.
About the conference
The 2027 International Conference on Intelligent Imaging, Computer Vision and Optical Sensing (IICVOS 2027) is planned for April 16–18, 2027 in Nanning, China. It is designed as a focused international platform for researchers, engineers and technology leaders working across the modern imaging pipeline.
Rapid advances in artificial intelligence, computational imaging, optoelectronic sensing and visual intelligence are reshaping how images are acquired, reconstructed, processed and understood. IICVOS brings these communities together to discuss new theory, enabling technologies and credible engineering applications.
The conference will feature keynote and invited talks, paper presentations and focused academic discussions. It will encourage exchange across universities, research institutes and industry, with particular attention to the relationship between rigorous research and real-world deployment.
Our objectives
- Build a stable, responsible and internationally oriented academic exchange platform.
- Connect foundational imaging research with optical systems, visual intelligence and applied AI.
- Encourage collaboration among universities, research institutes and technology-led organizations.
- Create meaningful presentation opportunities for early-career researchers and postgraduate students.
- Develop a transparent peer-review process and an engaged international program committee.
Conference format
The meeting is planned primarily as an in-person event. Selected online presentations may be arranged where appropriate. The final venue, speakers and detailed program will be announced as preparations progress.
IICVOS 2027 is the first edition of the conference. Rather than presenting a manufactured history, the site will document its founding vision, academic leadership and milestones transparently.
